Mindfulness

My job is taking care of a baby. I talk to him about all types of things. Today I was telling him how I know my behaviors are immature a lot of the time. But in the moment it’s hard to navigate away from them. But then it clicked. That’s why practicing mindfulness is so important. Getting yourself accustumed to being in the moment. And practicing working on the problem behavior as it happens. Now if only understanding it was enough.
